September House Posts Schedule

September House Senior Center, 1251 W. King St., York, will offer a variety of activities to local seniors. September House is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. A free lunch is available to any York County resident age 60 and older. Membership is free. Several fitness programs will be offered. Fit N Fun programs will run daily from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Qigong will be held at 1 p.m. on Mondays, and Tang Soo Do will take place on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

Linda will hold a crafting class on Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. She will teach how to make decorative mirrors using plastic spoons.

Bible study will take place on Friday, Feb. 21, at 12:30 p.m. Chess is played on Wednesdays, with an instructor on hand all day after 9 a.m. A Mardi Gras party will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Other activities include puzzles, board games and cards. Bingo starts at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the first card free, A cash bingo fundraiser is held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.
