Moms In Prayer Set Gathering

Mar 16, 2020 - 6:30 pm

Women are invited to attend "Overflowing Hope," a Moms in Prayer gathering, on Monday, March 16, at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at Mission Church, 651 Lampeter Road, Lancaster.

Women from Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks, and York counties and beyond are invited to a night to gather, pray and connect with the common goal of praying for children and schools and impacting them for Christ.

The event will be hosted by Moms in Prayer International area coordinators Mary Beth Will and Sue Forry as well as information assistant Patti Redcay. In addition to praying for children and schools, women will have a time to connect with other women. Ministries that impact schools will also be on-site.

Founded in 1984, Moms in Prayer International has one goal - to impact children and schools for Christ by gathering mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other women to pray. Women in more than 140 countries around the world meet regularly. In addition to traditional/one-school Moms in Prayer groups, the organization also has church-based, grandmothers, homeschool, preschool, special-needs, prodigal, military, college, career, language-based and working moms groups, as well as a growing prison ministry. Moms In Prayer International has groups that meet in Lancaster, Lebanon and Berks counties, as well as across the United States.
