Senior Center Sets Schedule

Stewartstown Area Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, has announced its schedule of upcoming programs and activities. For more information, readers may call 717-993-3488.

On Thursday, March 18, the public is invited to a "Welcome to Spring"/"Goodbye Winter" breakfast. It will include pancakes, chipped beef, homefries, eggs, toast, egg casserole, coffee, tea and orange juice. Barb's aerobics class will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Bonnie will be available to check weights and blood pressure. Table games will be available throughout the day. Kings in the Corner will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the chair yoga class will start at 10:30 a.m. The art class will begin at noon, as will Hand and Foot.

On Friday, March 20, aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wii games and a variety of table games will be available throughout the day. Indoor bocce ball will be provided for those interested. Bingo will be played after lunch.

On Monday, March 23, Barb's aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The center will be celebrating its 46th anniversary, with the public invited to stop in and check out the activities and tell what they would like offered. Table games and Wii games will be available throughout the day. Mahjong will be played at noon. Easter candy will be being made starting after lunch.

On Tuesday, March 24, Barb's aerobics will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The beginner watercolor class will meet at 9:15 a.m., with the advanced watercolor class at 12:30 p.m. Table games will be available throughout the day, as well as Wii games. The pinochle players will meet at noon. Doug will be available to offer computer assistance after lunch. Volunteers will go to ManorCare to assist with bingo after lunch. Easter candy will be made starting after lunch.

On Wednesday, March 25, Barb's aerobics class will be held in the fellowship hall from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mary Ellen will be available to assist with painting ceramics. The social club will meet in the morning to plan activities. The bridge club will meet at noon, with those who would like to learn to play or who already know how to play invited to attend. Various table games will be available throughout the day. The candy makers will start at 1 p.m.
