Martin Meylin Middle School has named its Students of the Month for January and February.
They include sixth-graders Mia LaFontaine, Isabelle King, Alyssa Gehr, Rebecca Alvarez, Xavier Rosado, Justin Maeda, Brady Zuber, and Alex Sutherland; seventh-graders Brianna Shaffer, Callie Reynolds, Allyson Breneman, Abigail Stevens, Jeremiah Kennel, Chase Smucker, Carson Zook, and Dominic Pepe; and eighth-graders Christian Rota, Bennett Wehibe, Owen Dean, Ezechiel Lukusa, Bethany Helms, Madeline Ross, Alanna Weaver, and Justin Gouger.
Creative arts Students of the Month include Gianna Fasano, Ellie Rhinier, Quinntyn Stark, Kyle Yang, Isabella Hirschmann, Marin Eberly, Jada Dillman, Kathryn Price, Talia Hall, Chase Hurst, Antonio Franco, and Chase Smucker.
Teachers select Students of the Month based on specific characteristics related to responsibility: self-discipline, self-control, working toward personal and group goals, punctuality, fulfilling obligations, responsible citizenship, and patriotism.
