Based on the recommendations from the CDC, September House Senior Center in York has suspended many of its activities until further notice. The decision was made to protect its at-risk population.
The Home Delivered Meal program will continue as usual. However, there will be some changes to the Congregate Meal Program and other activities at the center. Normally, participants preorder their food and then come to the center to eat together and enjoy various activities. Participants will still be able to order a free lunch, but instead of eating it at the center, they will take it home. Meals will be available from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays through Fridays. Participants must notify staff at September House which days they want food, or they must have previously signed up at the center. To preorder, readers may call 717-848-4417, or when they pick up food, they may place orders for subsequent days. At least two days' notice is required.
Activities and programs will be suspended until further notice. Further decisions will be based upon the recommendations from the CDC.
