Scout Sunday Held

Cub Scouts from Pack 28 and Boy Scouts from Troop 28 of Red Lion participated in the annual Scout Sunday services on Feb. 16 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Red Lion. During the services, the Scouts received donations from both the church and members of the congregation. These donations will be used to further the Scouting activities of Pack 28 and Troop 28.

Scout Sunday is held each February. The annual celebration gives members of Scouts BSA a visible way to show their appreciation for their faith-based charter organization. On Scout Sunday, at places of worship across the country, Scouts wear their uniforms to worship services. They also help with the services by conducting a flag ceremony, collecting the offering plate or reading Scripture.
