Spike's Pet Pantry Asks For Assistance

Humane Pennsylvania's Spike's Pet Pantry has become an important pet food resource for the community members facing financial hardships during the pandemic. The community is using Spike's Pet Pantry resources at an unprecedented level and Humane Pennsylvania needs the community's help to make sure it can continue to serve the community well during this time.

Community members who are able are asked to consider donating pet food, particularly dry cat food, as the supply is critically low. Financial donations are also sought.

Donations of dry cat food, other pet food, and supplies can be purchased through Humane Pennsylvania's AmazonWishList, http://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/ZM4RWC3GE78P, and directly shipped to the Humane Veterinary Hospitals Reading, 1729 N. 11th St., Reading, or the Humane Veterinary Hospitals Lancaster and the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster.

Financial donations can be made online at http://www.humanepa.org. Physical donations can be left in the blue bins outside the doors of the aforementioned locations. For more information, readers may contact Holly Giffin at hgiffin@humanepa.org or 610-750-6100, ext. 232.
