New Hope Ministries remains open and serving families struggling with hunger at its various locations in southcentral Pennsylvania. The primary mode is pre-boxed food via a zero-contact drive-up model with volunteers bringing food to cars.
Mobile pantries remain in operation, although they have limited hours and pre-packed boxes for families. People looking for help with employment can also receive guidance from staff.
Financial donations, food, and personal care donations are still in need, including perishable food from restaurants or other food service industries. Healthy and able-bodied volunteers are also welcome to help New Hope continue serving community members in need at every location. Interested volunteers can call New Hope at 717-432-2087 or stop by to help during open hours.
