Paul Davis Restoration of Central Pennsylvania is showing its appreciation to local firefighters, law enforcement personnel and emergency first responders with complimentary cleaning services during the pandemic. Trained technicians will clean and apply U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved disinfectants throughout area emergency personnel vehicles such as fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, and other first responder vehicles covering all common touch points and surfaces.
Mike Oster, director of client services, and his staff team will perform additional first responder vehicle cleaning and applications of disinfectant on Thursday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at Park City Center and the former Sears automotive location, 142 Park City Center, Lancaster. Oster is also offering the free services to local public transportation authorities and retirement home transportation operators, along with other first responders.
As the Paul Davis office anticipates increased interest in the additional cleaning events, Oster asks that participants communicate with the office in advance to know how many vehicles will be available for cleaning. To reserve times, readers may email Oster at Michael.Oster@pauldavis.com.
The company has taken proactive steps to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Paul Davis technicians are trained and equipped with personal protective equipment to handle pathogens and biohazards with approved products and high-tech equipment.
A full-time team of trained technicians can respond day or night, with preemptive cleaning and an application of disinfectant to public areas, workspaces, or residences whether structures have been exposed to the virus or not. Cleaning and applying disinfectant to all materials and surfaces in community spaces are critical steps in safeguarding public health, especially in heavy-traffic areas.
As essential service providers, Paul Davis teams continuously monitor and implement guidance from local, state, and national health agencies, using qualified and government-approved chemicals designated under the EPA emerging viral pathogen policy.
