The Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA will offer a series of free science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) workshops as part of the York County Libraries Imagine Your Story SummerQuest program.
Girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate in the Girls Go STEAM Summer Spectacular, where they will explore areas like coding, engineering, creative thinking, and teamwork. A Girl Scout membership and STEAM patch will be provided to all registered attendees.
The four-day Girls Go STEAM Spectacular Workshops will be held on the following dates and times.
For the workshop scheduled for Monday, July 13, to Thursday, July 16, kindergarten through fifth grade will meet from 10 to 11 a.m. Sixth through 12th grades will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For the session to be held Wednesday, July 22, to Saturday, July 25, kindergarten through fifth grade will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sixth through 12th grades will meet from noon to 1 p.m.
For the workshop slated for Monday, July 27, to Thursday, July 30, kindergarten through fifth grade will meet from 2 to 3 p.m. Sixth through 12th grades will meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

According to York County youth services director Paula Gilbert, a variety of educational online programs are planned for youths from birth to age 18. The SummerQuest program is provided free of cost to participants.
