With the arrival of COVID-19, Landis Valley Museum, Lancaster, had to cancel programs and put special projects on hold. The museum has been closed to the public since mid-March, and all but essential personnel are working from home.
All events have been canceled through August, but new online programming ideas are being discussed. The "Thrown, Fired and Glazed: The Redware Tradition From Pennsylvania and Beyond" exhibit was originally scheduled to run until December, but it has been extended to June 2021. Landis Valley is also trying to find ways to help engaged couples make their wedding dreams come true in spite of COVID-19.
