St. James the Apostle Lutheran Church, 2335 Cramer Road, Brogue, will offer several upcoming events.
The congregation began worshipping in person on July 5. Attendees are asked to wear masks and to practice social distancing. Bible study begins at 8:30 a.m. and the worship service follows at 9:30 a.m.
The Monday Morning Quilt Group that meets in the church social hall will resume monthly meetings on Monday, July 13, at 10 a.m. Participants will share completed projects and those in progress. Attendees will be asked to social distance and wear a mask.
After an absence of three months, the St. James Community Clothes Closet will reopen to provide clothing for the community. The following changes will be implemented.
Appointments will be scheduled for Monday July 13, or Tuesday, July 14, for those wishing to choose clothing. Participants may call the church office at 717-927-9497 by Wednesday, July 8, and leave their name, number for contact and choice of date. A call to schedule a time for the appointment will be made to those who call the church. No one will be allowed to choose clothing without an appointment. Attendees will be asked to wear a mask and gloves. Masks will not be provided, though gloves will.
