Saints Peter and Paul School (SPPS) in West Chester held a surprise car parade for its retiring principal, Margaret Egan, on June 9. Students, family members, and other guests gathered in the school parking lot to participate. Eighth-grade students were also congratulated on their graduation during the event.
Egan spent 52 years in the field of education, 18 of which were devoted to the students at SPPS. She was the recipient of the U.S. Department of Education's Terrel H. Bell Award in 2018.
