The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is offering two upcoming virtual programs to be conducted via Zoom. After registering for a program at http://www.eventbrite.com, attendees will be given the Zoom link to sign in. Ticket prices have been set.
"Riding the Rails: The Passenger Experience in Pennsylvania" will be held on Thursday, July 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn about 175 years of passenger rail travel in Pennsylvania, with a virtual lecture and a question-and-answer session with museum educators. The program will feature photos, audio and video, and it is designed for a teenager through adult audience.
A Virtual Trivia Night has been set for Friday, July 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. Participants may team up with family and friends or be assigned a team. One does not need to have a knowledge of trains to participate. Questions in history, geography, science, technology, sports and popular culture will be geared to people age 13 and up, but all are welcome to participate.
