The YMCA of York and York County has announced that during July, the joining fee has been waived for all YMCA membership options as part of its Welcome to the Family membership promotion. A YMCA membership includes child-watch services (varies by branch), unlimited access to all branches and Graham Aquatic Center, free daily exercise classes at all branches, water aerobics classes at the York and Southern branches, discounted special programs, and discounted pricing on a Graham Aquatic Center outdoor pool membership,
Through the Membership for All program, the YMCA provides financial assistance to individuals and families to ensure everyone has the opportunity to benefit from Y programming, regardless of income. Reduced membership rates are available for households with income less than $73,999. Verification of household income is required by showing a copy of the most recently filed 1040 or 1040-EZ form.
Additionally, the YMCA will offer a discount on eligible personal training packages through Thursday, July 16.
