Library Offers Programs

The Summer Reading Club continues at the Dauphin County Library System with online story times, book clubs and special educational programs planned for people of all ages. Readers may register for programs at http://dcls.org.

Recurring programs include Build Your Own Book Club for people ages 11 to 14, Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and Mondays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Zoom; Dungeons and Dragons for people ages 13 to 18, Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m.; Armchair Traveler, posted by 11 a.m. on Mondays at http://www.dcls.org/BeyondTheShelves; Writer's Workshop, prompt posted on the "Adult Programs" Facebook group on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.; and Mid-Day Get Away, posted by 2 p.m. on Fridays on the "Adult Programs" Facebook group.

Use Google Tools to Help You Land Your Next Job will be presented as a livestream event on Wednesday, July 22, from noon to 1 p.m. Job seekers will learn how to improve their resume and how to communicate effectively online, as well as best practices for interviews and more.
