St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Road, Lancaster, will offer "takeout" vacation Bible school (VBS) while following COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. From Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, families may pick up a box of materials to help them sample the Bible stories "Mary and Martha's Dinner Guest." "Elijah Helps the Widow," "The Disciples' Beach Breakfast," "The Lord's Supper" and more. Stories will be served with a daily helping of crafts, games, recipes, and online links to music and puppet shows. All materials needed will be provided in a takeout box, except for a few common household items.
All children age 4 through incoming sixth-graders are invited to participate. Preregistration is required. For registration and pickup details, readers may visit http://www.stpeterslutheran.org/vbs.
