Stephanie Shirk of York has been honored at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove. A psychology major, Shirk is a graduate of Eastern York High School.
The university recently honored high-achieving students with leadership awards, and Shirk received the 2020 Greek Member of the Year Award. Susquehanna's Leadership Awards were created to recognize awardees' commitment to the betterment of the university and surrounding communities. The awards are made possible through the Baylor Family Endowment. Established in 1993, the endowment is an expression of the Baylor family's appreciation for the university's continued commitment to the region.
Additionally, Shirk has been elected to The Quill student newspaper editorial board. Shirk will serve as assistant to the editor-in-chief for the 2020-21 academic year.
