Catherine Johnson of York was one of 64 Susquehanna University students who were recently chosen to present research at the 2020 annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research at Montana State University.
Johnson was selected to present a study of "Herbicide Effects on the Feeding Behavior of the Wolf Spider Pardosa Milvina and Lethal Effects of Common Herbicides on an Agriculturally Important Wolf Spider (Pardosa Milvina)." Johnson, an ecology major in the Class of 2022, is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Senior High School.
Established in 1987, the conference is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research and scholarship done in partnership with faculty or other mentors. The annual conference has become a national celebration of undergraduate scholarly activity involving all academic disciplines and all institutions of higher education. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's conference was canceled.
