The York County Prothonotary's Passport Office resumed routine service of passports on Aug. 3. Services are available by appointment only. Expedited service is not available.
U.S. Passport Services halted passport acceptance in March in response to COVID-19. Individuals should note that it will take months until applicants receive their passport and accompanying documents, including previous passports, birth certificates, and naturalization certificates.
