LCAA Opens Galleries

Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA), 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg, has reopened to visitors.

Artwork created during the stay-at-home order is featured in the "Homework" exhibit in the Kaufman Gallery. The exhibit includes paintings, drawings, photography and other media.

Millersville artist Claire Louise Giblin was the judge for the professional and non-professional categories for this show. Giblin is a member of Lancaster Echo Valley Art Group, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, and several other art associations. Award-winning artist Bill Puglisi is featuring paintings and pastels in his solo show, "Saving Grace," in the Steinmetz Gallery. Puglisi is a longtime member of LCAA and has exhibited at the Lititz Outdoor Art Show and the Landis Woods Art Show, where he has garnered top awards.

LCAA is known as Lancaster County's oldest arts organization and offers exhibition opportunities for artists, art classes for adults and children, workshops, a women's art forum, plein air groups, special programs and events. New members are always welcome.

The gallery is open on Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors are asked to wear masks. For more information, readers may call 717-687-7061 or visit the aforementioned website.
