The Bob Hoffman (Dover) YMCA is currently accepting registrations for its Camp Palomino program, which has been extended an additional three weeks through Friday, Sept. 4.
Registration fees will vary and YMCA members will receive a discount. Financial assistance is available.
Weekly fees and extended care fees have been set for full-time campers (four to five days) and for part-time campers (one to three days).
Camp has been extended for the weeks of Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 31.
At Bob Hoffman YMCA's Camp Palomino, full-day campers start the day with drop-off when they meet their friends and get some free play time. At 9 a.m., the camp has its opening ceremony along with camp songs and chants. Campers then begin their activities which include water activities, science, nature, cooking, music, sports, team building, arts and crafts, lunch and reading time.
