Foundation Sets Virtual Sessions

This fall, the Chester County Community Foundation invites nonprofit board and staff members to join Food for Thought: Board Trustee Edition. The program, formerly held in person and known as the Board Trustee Institute, will take place weekly on Zoom at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays from Sept. 15 to Oct. 27.

Food for Thought: Board Trustee Edition is designed for nonprofit board members and will explore a variety of topics geared toward helping nonprofits grow and thrive.

The weekly sessions will cover the following topics: "Some Novel Advice: Recalibrating and Recovery" on Sept. 15, led by Karen Simmons and Michael DeHaven; "Corporate and Foundation Funding: Taking the Temperature as We Look Ahead" on Sept. 22, led by Beth Harper Briglia and Chris Saello of United Way Chesco; "Individual Donor Fundraising: Lean Into the Trends" on Sept. 29, led by Connie Carter, Krys Sipple, and Corrine Sylvia; "Making Your Virtual Event Special" on Oct. 6, led by Beth Krallis and Jamison Ludgate; "Financial Leadership in the Face of Impossible Choices" on Oct. 13, led by Bob Ferguson and Kathy Wileczek; "Ask an Attorney: Avoiding Legal Pitfalls" on Oct. 20, led by L. Peter Temple, Donald B. Lynn, and Emily Temple Able; and "Strategy, Change, and Improved NPO Achievement" on Oct. 27, led by Pamela Leland and Sonia Stamm.
