Peter and Nancy Walten of Stewartstown have announced the engagement of their daughter Jaclyn Walten of Norfolk, Va., to Joseph Bahleda of Norfolk.
The bride-elect graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 2009 and received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Grove City College in 2013. She is employed by Engineering Services Network in Chesapeake, Va.
Mr. Bahleda is the son of Frank and Carrie Bahleda of Waukesha, Wis. After graduating from Waukesha West High School in 2011, he enlisted in the Navy. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2018 with a degree in operations research, and he is now stationed at the Navy base in Norfolk. He holds the rank of lieutenant junior grade.
An October wedding is planned.
