Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, has announced that a Golden Eagle Hikers History Hike will take place on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 1:30 p.m. Hikers should meet at the Environmental Center.
The 2-mile hike, for people over age 50, will take participants to 10 points of history in the park. The trail includes rocks and hills.
The center's programs are free unless stated otherwise, but preregistration is required. To preregister or obtain more information, readers may email governordick@hotmail.com or call 717-964-3808. Those registering should leave their name and phone number in case the program is canceled.
