Duane and Kathy Martin of Manheim have announced the engagement of their son, Matthew Thomas Martin of Philadelphia, to Charimar Valentin Arroyo of Philadelphia.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Raul and Rosemary Maldonado of Philadelphia. She graduated from Bodine High School in 2010, from Temple University in 2015, and from Community College of Philadelphia in 2017.
Mr. Martin graduated from Manheim Central High School in 2010 and from West Chester University in 2016. He served in the Air Force National Guard from 2010 to 2016.
An October wedding is planned.
