Vera Kywa of York and William C. White of York have announced the engagement of their daughter, Elena Elizabeth White of York, to Louis Karl Heck III of Lancaster.
The bride-elect graduated from Red Lion Area High School and York College. She is employed by UPMC Pinnacle Lititz. She is also a sergeant in the National Guard, serving in a medical unit.
The groom is the son of Louis Karl Heck II of Kein, N.H. He graduated from Kein High School as well as Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey. He is employed by Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.
An October wedding is planned.
