Throughout October, Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania (VROCP) is holding weekly auctions on Facebook. Community businesses and individuals have offered donations, and VROCP is posting a variety of auction items to recover some revenue losses due to the agency's canceled fundraising events.
To view auction items, readers may search for "Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania" on Facebook. Auctions will run weekly from Tuesday at 9 a.m. through Wednesday at 9 p.m. Bids can be made in the comment section under the picture of the prize being bid on.
Winners will be contacted through Facebook Messenger, and pickup or delivery arrangements will be made. Every auction item purchased supports the VROCP mission to aid the blind and visually impaired in the region.
