The Community Calendar is a weekly feature of the Community Courier.
Local clubs, civic organizations, nonprofit agencies, schools, etc., that would like to have events or meeting date information published, should contact the Community Courier in writing at least two weeks before the event. No items will be accepted over the phone.

Support Group
St. Benedict's Bereavement Support Group is for those grieving the death of a loved one. The group offers an opportunity to come together to work through the grieving process with the help and support of others who have experienced this difficult journey. The meetings are free and nondenominational.
The group will meet for five consecutive Wednesdays beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center, Room #1. To register, contact the parish office at 610-856-1006.
Book Discussion
Honey Brook Community Library will present a book discussion on Thursday, Oct. 22, on Zoom. Attendees will discuss Dave Pilkey books, which include "Dogman," "Captain Underpants" and "Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot." The program is geared toward school-age children, but all are welcome.

Gourd Painting
Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center, 615 Rock Hollow Road, Birdsboro, will host its first painting event for adults on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Participants will go through a step-by-step process to paint a Halloween-themed gourd. Neighbors Meeting
Neighbors Caring and Sharing, a Christian women's group that meets weekly at Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown, will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9:15 to 11 a.m. Guest speaker Crystal Funk will present "Serving Him in Haiti."

Halloween Line Dancing
Geigertown Fire Company, 3433 Hay Creek Road, Geigertown, will hold a night of line dancing with DJ Boots and Nancy on Friday, Oct. 30, from 7 to 11 p.m. Attendees are asked to wear Halloween costumes. The dance will be an indoor/outdoor event with room to provide safe social distancing. Masks will be required.

Trunk Or Treat
A socially distanced Trunk or Treat will be held at the Morgantown Arts & Holistic Center, 4997 N. Twin Valley Road, Elverson, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Masks must be worn at all times and attendees must remain 6 feet apart. All trick-or-treaters must register in order to attend. Only those who register can attend the event, which is limited to 175 participants.
