Students Learn New Programming Skills

Seventh- and eighth-grade Advanced Math students at Sacred Heart School in Lancaster are learning to program micro:bits this year. Block scheduling as a result of COVID-19 makes it possible to do this enrichment activity.

Students have learned to program displays to read room temperature and to use variables to convert the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. They use block coding, and some students have switched to JavaScript for their programs.
