This year, in response to COVID-19 concerns, the Friends of the Manheim Community Library will host its annual Holiday Crossings event at the Manheim Farm Show Exhibition Hall, Adele Avenue, Manheim, from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. The event will include holiday decorations, Santa visits, a basket giveaway drawing, and the Holiday Gift Shop.
Additionally, Holiday Crossings will be combined with the Friends' book sale. Donations for the book sale will be received on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Volunteers will be stationed in the parking lot behind the Manheim Community Library, 15 E. High St., Manheim, to accept donations. Book donations should be in good condition. Textbooks, encyclopedias, or condensed Reader's Digests will not be accepted.
