Lampeter-Strasburg High School has named the Pioneer Superlatives and Students of the Month for September. The Pioneer Superlatives are Nasya Warfel and Robert Bennethum, and the Students of the Month are Crosby Renninger and Dilyn Kemp.
Nasya is a senior and the daughter of Maddy Galarza and Matt Warfel of Lancaster. She manages the varsity football and girls' basketball teams and is a member of the Pioneer Interact Club, National Honor Society, 2020 homecoming court, and chorus. She has been listed on the honor roll. Nasya is active at her church as a food bank volunteer, worship team member, and youth group participant. She plans to pursue a career in forensics.
Robert is a senior and the son of Robert and Jennifer Bennethum of Strasburg. He is a part of the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Heroes Program and has been included on the honor roll. Robert is an Eagle Scout with three Eagle Palms and a member of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) national honor society, and he also holds a black belt in tae kwon do. He plans to attend Penn State University to study software engineering.
Crosby is a senior and the daughter of Andrew and Bridget Renninger of Willow Street. She is a member of the marching band, chorus, L-S Thespian Society, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, Crosby is a dancer, studying ballet, pointe, tap, and modern. Crosby hopes to become an elementary school teacher.
Dilyn is a sophomore and the son of Dylan and Amanda Condon of Lampeter. He is a member of the Garden Spot FFA chapter at Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Dylin hopes to pursue a career as an electrician.
