The Community Calendar is a weekly feature of the Community Courier.
Local clubs, civic organizations, nonprofit agencies, schools, etc., that would like to have events or meeting date information published, should contact the Community Courier in writing at least two weeks before the event. Story Time
Preschool story time with Miss Kim will be offered by the Moores Memorial Library in Christiana on Wednesday, Feb. 17, and every Wednesday morning virtually. To participate, visit "Moores Memorial Library" on Facebook. The Facebook page can also be accessed from the main library website at http://www.christianalibrary.org. The stories are posted for one week and then removed from Facebook.

Kacie's Cause, Parkesburg Chapter, will offer a support group for friends and family of addicted loved ones on Wednesday, Feb. 17 (and every Wednesday), at 7 p.m. in the chapel at The Parkesburg POINT youth center, 700 Main St., Parkesburg. An in-person Narcotics Anonymous meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 (and every Thursday) at 5 p.m. at Impact Church, 101 E. First Ave., Parkesburg.
Story Time
Ms. Maureen from Atglen Public Library will present an online story time and craft program on Thursday, Feb. 18, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. The program is best for children ages 3 to 6, but all ages are welcome. TOPS Meeting
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a nonprofit weight loss support group with thousands of chapters in the U.S. and Canada. Locally, a TOPS Chapter will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 23 (and every Tuesday), from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. at the Manor Presbyterian Church, 505 Street Road (Route 926), Cochranville

Book Sale
Moores Memorial Library's Read Moore Bookstore, located in the lower level of the library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, is open daily. Hours vary, but visitors may ask a librarian for access to the store any time that the library is open.
The bookstore is currently holding an inventory reduction sale. All books in boxes in the Community Room are priced at two for the price of one. Shoppers may also purchase a blue library bag and fill it with books from the boxes. New books are also offered at regular prices. The library is currently not accepting new book donations.
The library is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to noon. The library is closed on Sundays. Masks and social distancing are required.
