Senior Commons at Powder Mill will host a drive-up spaghetti dinner to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Curbside pickup will be on Tuesday, March 16, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Each meal will include spaghetti and meatballs, a salad, garlic bread and dessert. Orders must be placed in advance by calling call Lainey Goss at 717-741-0961 by Friday, March 12. Cash or check payment will be due at pickup. Checks should be made payable to the Alzheimer's Association.
Those who reserve a dinner are asked to drive up to the main entrance at 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, with their name in the car window, and someone will bring the meal to them.
Additionally, "Changing Resistance to Care to Participation in Care," a live webinar featuring world-renowned dementia care expert Teepa Snow, will be available via Zoom on Thursday, March 25, at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, at 3:30 p.m. Individuals must have access to email and a computer to attend the webinar, and they must preregister by Wednesday, March 24, by contacting Goss at the previously mentioned phone number or lgoss@powdermill.com.
