The Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) will host a free "Welcome to Retirement!" presentation via Zoom on Sunday, April 21, at 10 a.m. for public school retirees and any public school employee who will retire by Friday, Dec. 31. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, PASR will not hold its annual Pre-Retirement Workshop this year.
Membership is open to retiring teachers, librarians, counselors, nurses, maintenance staff members, custodial staff members, cafeteria workers, transportation personnel, administrators, paraprofessionals, and office staff members who want to learn more about PASR's benefits.
PASR office staff will speak on what the organization has to offer, including the activities the chapters provide to their members and communities. Representatives from United Concordia Dental, Davis Vision, and Trispagonis Insurance will speak about their specific insurance options available for prospective PASR chapter members.
Registration is required at http://www.pasr.org by Monday, April 12. A video link will be emailed to anyone who is unable to attend the live event; the need for the video link should be noted on the registration form.
