GOAL Project Plans Workshop Series

GOAL Project Inc., located in Lancaster, will provide addiction prevention and recovery support training to the public in collaboration with local presenters. Joel Jakubowski, men's program director at The Potter's House Addiction Recovery Program of Lancaster County, will offer a 12-part series on "Restoring Families of Addiction" on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. The April 14 program will be the second session on the topic "Current Drug Trends."

The free bilingual workshop series will be offered for two PCB credits and is supported by the Lancaster County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Compass Mark and the State Opioid Recovery Program.

In addition, on Thursday, April 29, a workshop called "Let's Talk About Youths and Drugs: What Are Waxing, Boofing and Robotripping?" will be delivered by Matthew Null from Gaudenzia from 6 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.
