The Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCC), located inside the John Wright Restaurant building, 234 N. Front St., Wrightsville, will holding a grand opening event on Tuesday, May 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. A ribbon cutting will take place at 5:30 p.m.
The public is invited to join area businesses for this drop-in style event, which will feature light refreshments from area restaurants and breweries. Participating eateries include John Wright Restaurant, Coffee & Cream, Union Station Grill, McCleary's Pub, the Railroad House, Hell in a Bucket, and El Serrano.
The Chamber recently relocated from its former building at 445 Linden St., Columbia. It now utilizes part of the space left by the Gardener of the Owl Valley store, which relocated earlier this year. The newly renovated area was designed by Lancaster-based RLPS Architects as a gift to SVCC.
Registration is required for the event and can be found at http://www.VisitSusquehannaValley.com/events.
The SVCC supports a variety of community, business, and economic development programs throughout the year. SVCC is dedicated to strengthening the business environment in the historic towns of Columbia, Marietta, and Wrightsville.
