Theatre Arts for Everyone (TAFE) has announced that the play "Fidelio" is available to view online through Monday, May 24. Tickets may be purchased at https://tafepa.org/tickets/fidelio.
"Fidelio" was adapted by Diane Crews from the radio play by Sandra Fenichel Asher, inspired by the English fairy tale "Cap O'Rushes." "Fidelio" tells the story of a rich and powerful king who lives in a huge castle with his three daughters, the youngest of whom has a dog named Fidelio. At sunset every day, the king's subjects come to the castle's courtyard to proclaim their allegiance to their monarch. However, the kingdom is not a happy one, and a hero is needed to help the vain king change his ways.
