Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two events in late May. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
An Intro to Walking a Labyrinth will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 22. Participants will discover the healing benefits of labyrinth walking with this class led by an advanced certified labyrinth facilitator, and attendees may walk the labyrinth after the class. A fee applies.
Golden Eagle Hikers will host The Other Side Hike on Sunday, May 23. Hikers over age 50 will step off at 1:30 p.m. for a 3-mile hike. Participants should meet at the Route 117 parking lot.
