Trinity United Methodist Church in Hummelstown invites children age 3 through fifth grade to participate in Ignite Soccer the week of Monday to Friday, June 7 to 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Alexander Park, located near the entrance to the Graystone Farms Development on Sweet Arrow Drive.
Ignite Soccer offers children opportunities to learn about both soccer and Jesus. Divided by age groups, players will work with coaches to learn very basic soccer skills. Each player will receive a sling bag with a ball, shin guards if needed, and a water bottle. Those registering before Friday, May 21, will also receive an Ignite Soccer T-shirt. In addition to drills and games, players also take part in nightly lessons, worship and snack time.
All participants must be toilet trained to register. Ignite Soccer will follow all CDC guidelines for youth sports as they exist at the time of the event. All coaches and volunteers will be required to wear masks.
