Mobile Exhibit Will Visit Gap

The Wreaths Across America mobile education exhibit will visit Gap on Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gap VFW, 4988 Lincoln Highway East, Gap. At 3 p.m., tickets will be drawn for the Living Up To Their Legacy fundraiser, which benefits the purchase of 1,850 wreaths placed in 22 cemeteries in the Pequea Valley and Octorara Area school districts.

Wreaths Across America's mobile education exhibit is manned by staff members who can present information about the organization. Visual presentations can accommodate up to 20 people in the theater. Indoor and outdoor story boards and videos highlight Wreaths Across America's growth and various programs designed to foster its mission. Also, interactive touch screen modules give guests the opportunity to sponsor a wreath, search for participating cemeteries at which to volunteer, and visit a trucking-specific website featuring sign-ups to help deliver wreaths to more than 2,100 locations. Branded merchandise can be purchased, as well.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place. To purchase tickets for the drawing, call 717-587-1315.
