Following its sold-out first printing, the nature-based children's book "Sketchbook A to Z: An Alphabetical Beginner's Guide to Pennsylvania Wildlife," written by Dave Kline and illustrated by Craig Schaffer, is now available online in paperback from Masthof Publishing of Morgantown.
"Sketchbook A to Z" features colorful, realistic nature illustrations of native Pennsylvania wildlife along with limericks to educate children about the beauty of the wildlife around them. It also features a critter counting section.
The book is appropriate for children of all ages, as well as parents and grandparents. The book is currently available in select bookstores and on Amazon. Bookstores may request a complimentary copy from Masthof Publishing.
In addition, Kline will perform a free concert, featuring sing-along songs and other musical guests, from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, during the Earth Day celebration at Volunteer Memorial Bandshell in Reading City Park, 11th and Washington streets.
A free concert, featuring music by Kline, will take place on Friday, June 25, from 5 to 9 p.m. during Bethelfest at New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton. Food and refreshments will be available. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
