Registration is open for the Eastern York Recreation Authority (EYRA) fall softball and baseball programs. Online registration is open at http://www.easternyorkrec.com until Sunday, July 18. Both baseball and softball seasons will run from August to October, with games played on weekends beginning after Labor Day.
Softball programs are available for levels 10U to 18U; age is determined as of Jan. 1, 2021. Fees are based on residency and uniform needs. Home games and practices will be held in Hellam and Lower Windsor townships. A fall clinic is being planned for the 7U age group, as there is no fall league play at this level.
Baseball programs are available for levels 7U to 19U; age is determined as of May 1, 2021. Fees are based on age level, residency, and uniform needs. Home games and practices will be held in Hallam and Craley.
Youth Baseball will host two restaurant fundraisers, as well. One will take place on Tuesday, June 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at MOD Pizza, 2401 E. Market St., York, with the other set for Wednesday, June 23, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Chipotle, 2801 Concord Road, York.
