The Lebanon Valley College Book Reviews series, during which faculty from the nearby college review a variety of literature, began on June 15 and will continue on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. through Aug. 10. Organ recitals, featuring performers from around the region, will be staged at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 16, 23, and 30. Twice-weekly art lectures will begin on Monday, June 28, and the Friday Night series, held at 7 p.m. beginning on June 25, will include talks by Kirk Bloodsworth, the first American death row inmate to be exonerated by DNA evidence, and Patrick Donmoyer, director of the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University, among others.

Reflecting the Chautauqua's roots in adult education is the "Chautauqua University for a Day" program, scheduled for Saturday, July 10, which will feature talks from historian Dr. Donald Koones, mycologist Dr. Tina Ellor, and renowned climate change scholar Donald Brown. A registration fee is required by Monday, July 5. Other programs will include weekly yoga with instructor Stephanie Bost and a film screening on each Wednesday in July. Supper Clubs featuring dinner and live music will be held on Mondays, June 21, July 19, and Aug. 30; reservations and payment are requested five days in advance.

Many Chautauqua programs are free to attend, although donations are encouraged. Programming is supported by the Stewart Society, a group of citizens dedicated to the organization's mission; Stewart Society membership requires a donation.
