LCAA Summer Activities Set

The Lancaster County Art Association (LCAA), 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg, will offer a variety of classes and workshops, along with an art camp, this summer.

Summer Art Thursdays will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, July 8 to Aug. 5. Participants may take one, several, or all the classes. Topics will be beginning drawing exercises, how to draw trees, six common mistakes to avoid, mixing colors, and color combinations.

Introduction to Watercolor will be held on Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sculpture Workshop will be offered on Saturday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Painting White Objects in Pastel will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Awesome Drawsome and Paint Art Camp for children and teens will run from Monday, July 19, through Thursday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp is designed for children ages 7 to 16 and will feature four sessions of creative art making, drawing, and painting. Class size is limited.
