Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two events. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center. A fee applies to both programs.
An outdoor story time and activity, Summer Story Forest, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 9. The program is designed for children up to age 10.
A Teddy Bear Hike will step off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 10. Participants will take their favorite teddy bear on a hike and learn about the black bear through games.
