Pequea Valley Public Library (PVPL) recently purchased five Wi-Fi hotspots using a portion of the $5,000 donation given to the library earlier this year by Ressler Mill Foundation. Four hotspots are now available at PVPL, 31 Center St., Intercourse, and one is available at the Gap branch, located at 835 Houston Run Drive, Suite 220. Patrons must be at least 18 to check out a hotspot, and there is a fee for lost or damaged items. If demand for the hotspots is high, the library will use some of the donated funds to purchase additional hotspots.
The donation from the Ressler Mill Foundation also helped the library to add books to its collection. The new books cover all genres and age groups. Each new book will have a book plate inside stating that it was purchased using funds donated by the foundation.
