Discussion Group Posts Meetings

Exploring, Growing Together (EGT) forum learning discussions will be held on Thursdays, Sept. 9, 16 and 23, at Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 E. Market St., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 103 on the lower level. Community members may attend the meetings in person or via Zoom.

Rosalie Custer will facilitate a discussion of "Land: How the Hunger for Ownership Shaped the Modern World" by Simon Winchester. The group will discuss one of the book's three parts at each session.

No COVID guidelines will be in place, but attendees may wear a mask if they prefer. Attendees may bring a lunch to eat during the discussions.

EGT will not meet in October or December. In November, Tim Flinchbaugh will discuss "Have a Little Faith" by Mitch Albom.

EGT aims to offer a safe learning environment in which to discuss and explore diverse topics and beliefs. Contact Linda at 717-626-0745 or raven303@ptd.net with questions or suggestions or to obtain a new series schedule. Additionally, due to the possibility of changes, those who plan to attend in person are advised to confirm with Linda before the program.
