The Lancaster County Bird Club (LCBC) will meet on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster. Children and adults are welcome to attend LCBC's brief meeting and the subsequent program.
Tracie Young of Raven Ridge Wildlife Center (RRWC) will present the evening's program about local mammals, birds, and reptiles, with educational ambassador animals on hand. Young founded RRWC in 2015 and serves as director and rehabilitator. She holds permits from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
RRWC is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Washington Boro. It offers rehabilitation services for raptors (bird of prey), mammals, and waterfowl, and it rehabilitates nearly 2,000 animals every year.
