Students and teachers will join the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania for its virtual "STEAM on the Rails" event on Tuesday, Oct. 19, and Thursday, Oct. 21. This program is designed to help children in kindergarten through grade six to learn about the role of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) in their daily lives.
Students will watch live demonstrations and programs via Zoom, including how levers and pulleys work and how a steam locomotive works. The program will feature four 30-minute presentations each day.
Registration is available by donation at http://www.eventbrite.com; search for "STEAM on the Rails Virtual Program."
